Disneyworld: The Magical Experience for Kids

Disneyworld is one of the most popular vacation destinations for people all around the world. Adults, seniors, teenagers and children love Disneyworld. Couples, singles and families all choose Disneyworld as a fun vacation destination. However, the magical world of Disney is especially fun for the kids. Children dream of going to Disneyworld to see all their favorite characters, to ride the rides and to explore the wondrous sights that no other place can provide. The people at Disneyworld resorts are well aware of the draw for children and they do everything in their power to ensure the kids have a magical experience when they are here.

When kids think of Disneyworld they specifically think of the theme parks that are available for them to have fun in and explore. It is no wonder, the theme parks at Disneyworld are spectacular and have numerous things to do and places to see. There are four main theme parks available at Disneyworld for kids to enjoy:

• Magic Kingdom Park - Magic Kingdom Park features the Disney characters in all their glory as well as well as the famous Cinderella Castle. There are live shows, rides, 3-D movies, fireworks, games and tours. You also have plenty of dining venues and shopping opportunities.

• Epcot - Learn about what is happening around the globe today and what the possibilities could be for the future in this educational yet fun theme park. There are rides and shows that feature some of the most amazing animation or 3-D effect, live performances and interactive games.

• Disney's Hollywood Studios - This Disneyworld theme park shows behind the scenes action of Hollywood's movie production studios. You can enjoy 4-D adventures with interactive shows, thrilling rides, musical performances and special effects.

• Disney's Animal Kingdom Park - Animals both real and imagined are explored in this Disneyworld theme park. You can go on an African safari, watch live performances, go on exhilarating rides and explore on tours.

In addition to the four main theme parks Disneyworld has to offer, there are also two water parks. This is perfect for those traveling in the summer months who may want to cool down a bit with some fun water adventures:

• Blizzard Beach - Blizzard beach is a water park that has all the fun rides and water activities you can imagine. But it is built in a setting that looks like the park is situated in snow capped mountains. This is a great contrast from the heat of the summer.

• Typhoon Lagoon - Whether thrilling rides or relaxing in the sun is more enjoyable, this park offers the best of both worlds. You can relax on a tube ride while cooling off or dare to ride one of the thrilling water chutes available.

In addition to the Disneyworld theme parks and water parks there are also other many other Disney attractions from which to choose. The Disneyworld resorts are wonderful places to stay. While the kids might not appreciate the spa and fitness center facilities as much as the adults do, they will certainly appreciate the arcades, Disney themed pools complete with slides and dining beside some of their favorite Disney characters.

Downtown Disneyworld has a wide variety of shops, theaters, restaurants and entertainment the kids will love. For an incredible acrobatic display, kids and adults alike will enjoy the Cirque du Soleil La Nouba performance. The Disneyworld Boardwalk will take you back to a time when summer fun meant strolling along the water, shopping, eating and having a great time. If the kids still do not have enough to do or you are taking an extended vacation where you want to cram everything in at once, you can always enjoy the many sporting options there are available such as golf, horseback riding or watching an amateur baseball game.
